From day one of arrival in Virudhunagar from Pune, the Goldie aged 2 yrs had not taken food started vomiting emaciated. After a week of treatment with a hospital they turn up with us in a stage before comatose, offer if and very much apathetic. We did a advanced diagnostic work up within 2 hours found his liver, kidney failing, severe electrolyte disturbances with haemoglobin 0f 7.4 due to mixed haemoprotozoan infection. We started intensive treatment with balanced electrolyte, proper chemotherapeutic agents, and supportive measures for 5 days and he made an uneventful recovery.
